KPop is hovering at the extreme end of Ridiculous. It seems as though my few true, diligent friends and I are the only ones who aren’t sucked into this bottomless pit of clone-like stars (or should i say puppets), machine-manufactured tunes and wildly OBSESSED fans.
Like all Corporations built under the umbrella of Capitalism, the music industry functions as per standard template: penetrating all markets and striking at every possible potential to grow.
And the latest fad: Pretty boys that have thighs the size of my arms. Yes, gone were the days when Hot Men have actual muscles.
This is pure evidence that media shapes the masses perception of beauty. It’s not the shift in the perception of beauty that is startling, but the fact that PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN and feeds off everything the media throws at them.
